Safe Families Austin uses every gift wisely—investing 77 cents of every dollar directly into services that help families stay safe, stable, and together. Each family receives up to one year of wrap-around support, including a Family Friend, Family Coach, and access to hosting, case management, and goal-setting support.
Impact for Children
Your generosity provides children with safe, loving care during times of crisis through trained volunteer Host Families. This gives parents time to stabilize while ensuring kids remain protected, connected, and out of foster care.
Impact for Community
Nationally, one foster care case costs an average of $32,000 and often leads to long-term trauma and family separation. For $11,000, Safe Families Austin provides wrap-around services for a year to support families, helping them to stay together—building a stronger, healthier community for everyone.
